About the event
A small-group training walk for dogs who struggle when other dogs pass them on the street.
For many dogs, pavement encounters can feel overwhelming. They may bark, pull, lunge, freeze, or simply find it hard to focus when another dog appears. This walk is designed to give you practical, kind and reward-based ways to support them.
We will meet in a quiet industrial-estate setting, where the roads are closed on Sundays and we have more control over space, distance and what the dogs see. This gives us the opportunity to practise real-life street-walking skills without the pressure of a busy public route.
During the walk, we will work on:
Helping your dog notice another dog without becoming overwhelmed
Creating more space and making calm choices

A supportive small-group walk for dogs who find passing other dogs on the street difficult. We will practise calm, practical skills in a quiet and controlled pavement-style setting, with plenty of space between dogs and no expectation for dogs to interact. Please bring lots of high-value treats, water for your dog and a use a harness and standard fixed lead. No extendable leads, please.
